Tom Daley finally has a gold medal to shout about after giving David Beckham the boot off his perch as the Hottest Hunk on the planet.
The high diving 18-year-old has made an impressive debut in Heat magazine’s Hottest Hunks of 2013 poll after being voted at No.1.
‘I don’t think of myself as a hunk. I just think of myself as a normal person who still goes to school, who still has to train 30 hours a week and who just gets on with life!’ said the stunned Olympian turned Splash! TV star.
‘It’s surreal because I just do diving because I love doing it. For people to vote for me like this is great and I want to say a big thank you to everyone who voted,’ he added.
For Becks he must settle for third spot at the age of 37 after being over taken by Magic Mike striptease actor Channing Tatum.

One Direction’s ladies magnet Harry Styles, 18, leapt 12 spots from last year to come in at No.6 beating bandmate 20-year-old Zayn Malik at No.8.
Ryan Gosling, 32, stayed true to sizzling hot form with the Drive actor coming in at No. 5.
British cinema smoothies, Les Misérables actor Eddie Redmayne, 31, and Bond star Daniel Craig, 44, also made the grade at No.81 and No.13.
